Strategame is intended to be a user-friendly game designer that allows you to design and map out a board, pieces, cards, and rules. It currently supports only basic design of a board, pieces, and cards, but when complete, it will allow you to run beta-tests virtually or play the game manually, and the rules will be enforced, allowing you and play-testers to experience the game dynamics that the rules produce.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
This site uses cookies to store temporary information about your currently logged in session. Also, information about your game may be stored in the browser's "local storage" for offline use or to avoid loss of information.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we may set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies and local data to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for one hour and are refreshed automatically every 30 minutes. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
We may collect anonymous data on website visits for analytical purposes to optimize Strategame.com’s quality of service to customers. This may include IP addresses, what sources they result from (ex: Google, Facebook, etc…), and which pages or features are utilized. We will not attempt discover personally identifiable information through this anonymous data.
The data we receive may be shared with Google, Stripe, and other payment vendors, but only as necessary to utilize their services.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile, if any. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Any form submissions not requiring a login, such as visitor comments, may be checked through an automated spam detection service. See section titled "How we protect your data" below for additional details.
Our website is hosted in the cloud using AWS (Amazon Web Services) and all connections to the website are made through SSL for privacy. All of your game data and personal data, except payment data, are sent between the browser and the Strategame.com website only. Payment data, including amounts and emails entered, is sent to Stripe when processing and stored on their cloud infrastructure. We do not store payment informaton such as credit cards or payment accounts on Strategame.com.
We use Stripe (https://www.stripe.com/) as our payment gateway for e-commerce transactions. All payment data is submitted directly to Stripe from your browser and does not get saved on our website. We perform standard business accounting using this payment data from Stripe’s portal.
While this website may utilize AI decision-making in processes initiated by the user, we do not use any automated decision-making or AI algorithms to determine the content you see. We do not use algorithms in any way that is common with social media platforms.
